COLD DRIP

This Spinnerette.Anagram allowed me the opportunity to write about a Stock Market term and one of my favorite subjects - Coffee.

First, The Stock Market Term ~ DRIP is an acronym for Dividend Reinvestment Plan which is a way to grow your investments. According to Google Wikipedia, DRIP is a program that automatically reinvests a company’s dividend payments into additional shares of the company’s stock. Some advantages of utilizing the DRIP are compounding your investment, discounted shares can be offered by companies, commission-free transactions, tax advantages, and they can help avoid attempting to time stock purchases. A disadvantage is that they can reduce cash flow. Also, you must purchase a whole share because a DRIP cannot purchase fractional shares. Of course, COLD can indicate a cooling effect, which pared with DRIP could indicate holding back from utilizing a DRIP. Therefore as an analogy, COLD DRIP may indicate a speculative risk!

Now for one of my favorite topics ~ Coffee!

COLD DRIP coffee is a brewing method. A person uses cold water that slowly drips over coffee grounds. It produces a concentrated smoother taste that is less acidic. It’s made by slow extraction in a special designed drip tower that can take several hours to brew depending your desired strength. Sounds delicious!
