Regal symbolizes grandeur. Someone or something that possesses a dignified and commanding presence as stated by, venere.it.

As an adjective, Regal is defined as “of, resembling, or fit for a monarch, especially in being magnificent or dignified” Oxford Languages - languages.oup.com.

The word Regal is derived from Old French ~ regal and from Latin ~ regalis both origins of the word agree that it signifies regality, kingly and stately. According to merriam-webster.com there are 2 definitions for Regal: 1) of, relating to, or suitable for a king and 2) of notable excellence or magnificence: SPLENDID.

When I deciphered today’s Spinnerette, I immediately decided to enjoy the opportunity to design a visual metaphor for my wallstreetspiders.net website. After all, what could be more Regal in America than Wall Street and more Regal than our first president of the United States of America ~ George Washington! In my opinion, the Global Stock Exchanges essentially equate grandeur. After all, this is where the business of money is conducted. Furthermore, the ideal of a president, is the representation of occupying the highest office a person can hold. In America, The President of the United States controls the Executive Branch of our government; they are “elected by the people for the people” to serve our country and assuredly they are expected to denote a Regal presence.

A word about Anagrams and today’s Spinnerette:

In today’s Spinnerette.Anagram I was able to write about the start of my website:wallstreetspiders.net. When I first discovered the creation of my game, I wasn’t sure where it would lead me. I just saw something in the WSJ stock listings that gave me new information in a creative way. During my dissection of the numbers and the Ticker symbols, I realized that there were underlining messages that related to World Industries along with many contemporary topics. Early on, I deciphered the word presidents and found the anagram ten spiders. I then added wall street to the combination. Hence, the beginnings of my exploration was hatched into Presidents thus becoming Ten Spiders and eventually spiders.net which grew further into wallstreetspiders.net and than deciphered into the anagram, treats presidents well. What started as a whimsical exaggeration turned into a process to learn new information in a creative course-like-method to acquire knowledge about our Global Footprint. By chance, I began to recognize this new method as a means to edify myself and others. For me, wallstreetspiders.net has grown into conversational vignettes filled with data that has allowed me to explore information and visualize that information creatively.
