A DADDY LONGLEGS: Robin Li joined IDD Information Services in 1994 which was a division of Dow Jones and Company. It was here that Robin Li developed software for the online Wall Street Journal. In 1996 Mr. Li created an algorithm for scoring sites known as RankDex and received a patent for the technology. It predates Googles PageRank algorithm by 2 years.

RNG - RingCentral Inc. is a provider of cloud-based communication, collaboration products and services for businesses. It was founded by Vlad Shmunis and Vlad Vendrow in 1999 headquartered in Belmont, CA and trades on the NYSE. The company’s Revenue is approx US$2 BILLION and employ around 4,000

The Anagram is referencing BUD which is the Call Letters for AB InBev a multinational drink and brewing company that is headquartered in Leuven, Belgium. It is the largest brewer in the world with approx 630 beer brands in 150 countries. Revenue is approx US$52 BILLION and the company employs over 170,000. The portfolio includes Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois.

However, the more interesting anagram was the Bird Gun. I could not resist researching whether gun companies make guns just for shooting birds and to my surprise I discovered their history. Many of you may be gun connoisseurs, but obviously I’m not. I would like those that might be interested in viewing a “bird gun” visit: www.outdoorlife.com. More fascinating, was the Punt Gun an extremely large Gun wielded in the 19th and early 20th century to shoot waterfowl for commercial purposes. It’s True: You can learn something new every day!
